We, at Green Carpet have organized many thrilling events in the course of the past year and this year. After an awesome experience of waterfall rappelling at kondhane caves, Now we have decided to take you all to the a peaceful n one of the most photogenic location, The valley of flowers of Sahyadris, Kaas Plateau, Thoseghar waterfalls and Sajjangad i.e. “Photography tour de SATARA” on 24th-25th Sept 2011

Kaas plateau requires no introduction for all photography lovers. Here we can find different species of flowers like Senecio grahamii,Utricularia purpurascens etc etc

Trail Requisites To Carry: -
* Trekking or sports shoes
* Sleepers if require.

* Wrap all things (especially camera & cell phone) in polythene bags.
* Avoid wearing valuable ornaments.

Kaas (Kass) near Satara in India is an amazing plateau of wild flowers. This is the place where the photographers & nature lover gather after monsoon season to explore variety of flowers at one place. There are some rare species of flowers found only on Kaas Plateau.

The Kaas Plateau near Satara is truly the inspiring `Valley of Flowers’ of Maharashtra. Around the end of monsoons, the place goes crazy with the carpet of varied flowers. It is famed for its Ground Orchids, Lilies & Insectivorous Plants (Drosera). The stunning Thoseghar Waterfall & windmills are added attractions here.
