top station – this place get misty after 5 pm on certain days and then this place is a total disappointment.


ideally staying at the hotel at top station is a good idea to capture the moods throughout the day . but this place is so out of the way it is better to have your own or hired vehicle




Coimbatore Direction


Tata Tea Museum – open from 9am to 3 pm
As they do not allow photography is it worth it?


Nyamakad water fall – dry in march

sandal wood forest – fail place not worth vistingf
unless you pay and go into the forest to see the trees cant
see them from the main road


muniyara (pandava caves) – no one really knows where this is

chinnar wild life sanctuary
long drive from munnar town and is an extremely hot place
no sighting of any wildlife except elephants if you are lucky
if you really want to see wild life here you need to reach the place at 5 pm around the watering hole . but the drive back in the dark on those
dangerous curves which DO NOT have lights and extreme mist is
dangerous . But of you stay at marayoor chandana resort (not check it but passed it ) about 30 minutes from the park you could do this stretch.


65km from munnar town




The best tea plantation views are on the drive from munnar to chinnakkal (where club mahindra and sterling resorts are located) this is not mentioned on any site
