Anjaneri is the birthplace of the staunch bhakta of Lord Ram,
Hanuman. It is is located some 15km from the city on the
Nasik-Trimbakeshwar road. This place is named after the mother of
Hanuman Anjani.
It is a splendid mixture of the mountains, temples and the lush
greenery. Anjaneri is not only popular among the devotees but also the
adventure lovers because of their rocky surroundings.Visiting Anjaneri
in the monsoon season gives one a very heavenly feeling. The cloud
clad mountains, lush greenery, reverse waterfalls are all very
amazing.
While Anjaneri gives you misty feeling, Harshagad practically takes
you to heaven. Its high gradient rock cut stairs and the route leading
to the unknown area hidden in clouds will certainly give you feel of
walking to heaven.
